Rapid
I noticed just editing the au3.api and adding the lines there makes it work good. That Program you gave me pretty much confused me even though I made it work through there, but au3.api writing, much easier. Thanks Edit: you should say in the wiki that after each edit, you must reset your scite in order for it to show up, took me 2-3min before I realized lol Edited October 4, 2015 by Rapid
Moderators Melba23 Posted October 4, 2015 Moderators Share Posted October 4, 2015 Rapid,If you edited au3.api then you will lose all of your changes with the next AutoIt update - this is why the Wiki tells you to use <Your_User_Profile>\au3.user.calltips.api & <Your_User_Profile>\au3.userudfs.properties to store the data for your personal includes. And the User Calltip Manager app does all the hard work for you. But if you know best......M23 Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind Open spoiler to see my UDFs: Spoiler ArrayMultiColSort ---- Sort arrays on multiple columnsChooseFileFolder ---- Single and multiple selections from specified path treeview listingDate_Time_Convert -- Easily convert date/time formats, including the language usedExtMsgBox --------- A highly customisable replacement for MsgBoxGUIExtender -------- Extend and retract multiple sections within a GUIGUIFrame ---------- Subdivide GUIs into many adjustable framesGUIListViewEx ------- Insert, delete, move, drag, sort, edit and colour ListView itemsGUITreeViewEx ------ Check/clear parent and child checkboxes in a TreeViewMarquee ----------- Scrolling tickertape GUIsNoFocusLines ------- Remove the dotted focus lines from buttons, sliders, radios and checkboxesNotify ------------- Small notifications on the edge of the displayScrollbars ----------Automatically sized scrollbars with a single commandStringSize ---------- Automatically size controls to fit textToast -------------- Small GUIs which pop out of the notification area

Moderators Melba23 Posted October 4, 2015 Moderators Share Posted October 4, 2015 Rapid,The 2 files are on the paths I gave in the post above - and as explained in the Wiki tutorial (you did read it?) you will need to create them initially. This is why we recommend using the app as it does everything for you.M23 Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind Open spoiler to see my UDFs: Spoiler ArrayMultiColSort ---- Sort arrays on multiple columnsChooseFileFolder ---- Single and multiple selections from specified path treeview listingDate_Time_Convert -- Easily convert date/time formats, including the language usedExtMsgBox --------- A highly customisable replacement for MsgBoxGUIExtender -------- Extend and retract multiple sections within a GUIGUIFrame ---------- Subdivide GUIs into many adjustable framesGUIListViewEx ------- Insert, delete, move, drag, sort, edit and colour ListView itemsGUITreeViewEx ------ Check/clear parent and child checkboxes in a TreeViewMarquee ----------- Scrolling tickertape GUIsNoFocusLines ------- Remove the dotted focus lines from buttons, sliders, radios and checkboxesNotify ------------- Small notifications on the edge of the displayScrollbars ----------Automatically sized scrollbars with a single commandStringSize ---------- Automatically size controls to fit textToast -------------- Small GUIs which pop out of the notification area
