Automating a daily job

Hello Team,

 

I have doubt about automating a daily job, in our job everyday will check some websites based on our job requirement Now i want automate those jobs using autoit  For example Open a website and open click statics and take screenshot like this. And this one have to run backgroundly without any interruption of the user work there is solution like this?

Please let me know any solution for this...

AutoIt comes with an UDF for IE so I would start there. Please have a look at the help file and the examples provided there.

Use Scheduled tasks to periodically run the script.

I don't think you can take a screenshot if the image isn't on the screen so you might need to interrupt the user briefly to get your screenshot.

Press F1 to get the helpfile up and go to   UserDefined Functions > IE Management and read up on _IECreate and _IENavigate for pushing around IE

For the screenshots read up in helpfile section UserDefined Functions > ScreenCapture Management.

The helpfiles have great examples. Enjoy :)

Yes perhaps he could.  You'll need InetRead, BinaryToString to get the text and StringRegExp to pull out the parts you want and InetGet to get the images.  All are in the helpfile.  Use the search tab and they'll show up easy.  Doing it this way would be a little harder but it would not interrupt the user at all which was one of your requirements.
