DateAdd Help

Recommended Posts

I am trying to get the first and last dates of the previous month. I can get the last day by using  _DateAdd

Local $sLastDate = StringRegExpReplace(_DateAdd("d", -16, _NowCalcDate()), '\d\d(\d\d).(\d\d).(\d\d)', '$2$3$1')      the -16 is just from the date I am running it on.

I have tried different coding using both _DateAdd and _DateDiff but just cannot figure it out.

Any help?

Thank you

Like this?

#include <Date.au3>

Local $sDate = _NowCalcDate()
Local $sDateLastPreviousMonth = _DateAdd('D', - StringRegExp($sDate, '\d\d$', 1)[0] , $sDate)
Local $sDateFirstPreviousMonth = StringLeft($sDateLastPreviousMonth, 8) & '01'

ConsoleWrite($sDateFirstPreviousMonth & " --> " & $sDateLastPreviousMonth & @LF)

#include <Date.au3>
Local $sDate = _NowCalcDate()
Local $sDateLastPreviousMonth = _DateAdd('D', - StringRegExp($sDate, '\d\d$', 1)[0] , $sDate)
Local $sDateFirstPreviousMonth = StringLeft($sDateLastPreviousMonth, 8) & '01'
Local $sFirstDate = StringRegExpReplace($sDateFirstPreviousMonth, '\d\d(\d\d).(\d\d).(\d\d)', '$2$3$1')
Local $sLastDate = StringRegExpReplace($sDateLastPreviousMonth, '\d\d(\d\d).(\d\d).(\d\d)', '$2$3$1')
ConsoleWrite($sFirstDate & " --> " & $sLastDate & @LF)
