May be because it's my wife's Laptop !

Ok, it seems that internally 32-bit is used although screen color depth is set to 16-bit (WMI still reports 32-bit) and it is displayed in 16-bit color format.

Following the tutorial it appears that settings are already on 32bits true color.

I have retry my script this way : in the _GuiRef function with GUISetState() uncommented.

And the $hGuiRef window is correctly displayed with transparency.

So problem should be when the PNG is saved, no ?

Yes 32bit

Well, i usually test transparency with the photo editor PhotoFiltre

Thinking it can have a problem, i test the saved image with Windows-Paint.

But no luck, same white frame !

In a last hope i have tried the windows picture viewer...

And what i see ! My serrated edges with transparency !!!!

I do  not understand anything...

I got it !

Windows Paint do not support transparency.

The Main problem was my wife !!! She never update his photo editor !

Once updated it works ! 

1000 excuses for lost time !
