ControlClick stopped working

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have an issue with controlclick after I use it for multiple times, it either stops executing the next command, or clicks but at slightly different coordinates.

ControlClick($hWnd, "", "QWidget51","left",1,50,59)
ControlClick($hWnd, "", "QWidget51","left",1,67,106)
ControlClick($hWnd, "", "QWidget51","left",1,92,161)
ControlClick($hWnd, "", "QWidget4","left",1,188,519)
ControlClick($hWnd, "", "QWidget4","left",1,354,678)
ControlClick($hWnd, "", "QWidget4","left",1,169,732)
ControlClick($hWnd, "", "QWidget36","left",1,30,44)

it executes first 5 without any problem but not the last one, if I try to change it for different coordinates, it still doesn't work, but when I try to execute it separately, it works just fine.

I tried to add delays everywhere and it doesn't change anything

Also I tried to run the last line in compiled version after the code like this

sleep(500)
run("controlclicktest.exe",@DesktopDir)

but again, when I open just that .exe file, it executes properly.

It seems to me like there is some cache that needs to be cleaned or something like that.

thanks for your suggestions

The X and Y parameters of ControlClick are the x & y positions inside the control you're clicking, not screen position. I don't know what it is you're trying to click but it would have to be a pretty large control for some of those coordinates.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
