Jfish
What is the problem you are seeing? Also, it makes your code a bit easier to read if you use the code tags <> on the editor when posting. Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted December 9, 2015 Moderators Share Posted December 9, 2015 The error message is clearly telling you what is wrong, an unterminated string. Check your quotes and you will find it (hint: C:\Users\Chris Neal) "Profanity is the last vestige of the feeble mind. BrewManNH
Your code calling the 2 functions is horribly wrong as well. You're not giving the functions a file path and name to find the file to encrypt/decrypt. You're sending it the file name as@UserProfileDir & "C:\Users\Chris Neal"Which would translate to "C:\Users\Chris NealC:\Users\Chris Neal" (if Chris Neal is the current user). The decrypt function is getting this: "C:\Users\Chris Neal\DesktopC:\Users\Chris Neal" Edited December 9, 2015 by BrewManNH If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
