AndrewF32
Hi, I'm new to autoit and I need help sending joystick inputs like from an xbox controller. I need to send them alongside of an actual controller so I can't use a virtual controller. Is there native support in autoit or do I need another program as well? AndrewF32
Sorry if my wording was a bit backwards, I am trying to send joystick outputs from my xbox controller like a regular macro. I did some research and this is the only forum that I could find with actual coding for joystick inputs. I hope it helps! The link will be listed below. I'll take a look through this, at first glance this may help.
AndrewF32
It looks like that code can just read outputs from the controller but can't send them to a program. So far that's all I've seen anywhere.

AndrewF32
AndrewF32,How about answering Jos questions before we go any further?M23I want to send controller outputs like a regular macro for a keyboard. Ex: press "x" on keyboard and controller sends the "b" key press.
Moderators Melba23 Posted December 12, 2015 Moderators Share Posted December 12, 2015 AndrewF32,You mean you want simulate the controller "b" command when you press the "x" key on a keyboard? AndrewF32
AndrewF32,And I suppose this is so two people can play games without having to buy another controller?M23No, the left trigger is broken on my controller which means I can't zoom out on one of the games I play without switching my control setup.
