press pause button but it dont pause right away?

When I run and press Pause button at once , but the script will pause when $a >15. If unpause, it run normally. 

Why and how to resolve It?

Seems to work as expected if you comment out the Sleep statement.

Yes! remove sleep or sleep(10), then it works. But I dont know why?

Because Sleep is a "blocking" function, means: you can't interrupt it.
