Developers Jos Posted December 23, 2015 Developers Share Posted December 23, 2015 Which version of SciTE do you have installed? (Help/About SciTE)Have you installed the full version with the separate installer? If so: what is the value of environment variable SCITEUSER_HOME and is this the correct directory?Jos SciTE4AutoIt3 Full installer Download page - Beta files Read before posting How to post scriptsource Forum etiquette Forum Rules Live for the present, Dream of the future, Learn from the past. Bigggtom
Hi Jos,SciTE 3.6.2 for Windows .msi file. I installed it as administrator to the folder of AutoIT c:\ program files (86)\AutoIT\SciTE, for all users on a Win7 machine. The previous version was installed on the same directory.Bigggtom

ganondorc
@Jos I'm having the same problem after installing SciTE separately (it was SciTE Lite and I wanted syntax highlighting) and just putting Scite.exe in the same folder it was originally (C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\SciTE). I don't have an environment variable set at all, should I add one?
Developers Jos Posted December 29, 2022 Developers Share Posted December 29, 2022 (edited) You need to use the separate installer when you want things to work properly. just replacing an Scite.exe isn't going to work at all as that will be missing all required configs and extras.
