Internet Explorer and Windows Security dialog issue.

Hi to all,

I am having a big trouble creating a script which needs to log in to a specific page using IE.

The problem is that when the script clicks on the log in link, Windows Security dialog pops out requesting Username and a password.

At that point, the script just waits, like it doesn't see Windows Security but the security window is in focus with blinking cursor.

I tried all kind of things from WinWaitActive, WinWait, ControlClick, ControlSend,Send... also used au3 info window, used regular windows title, class and so on. I searched the internet so many times, but I simply can't find the solution for this issue.

What is interesting when I made a similar script which is using Remote Desktop, Windows Security also pops out but Autoit can see the security window with no issue, it works like a charm. So it must be something with IE that is causing the issue.

Do You can make other script which automate only this popup dialog, after that when this  dialog appears?

Well I need to use only one script. It is really odd that Autoit can't see Windows Security dialog.

I ask you to check If AutoIt is able to see and interact with this desired window.
So do you check, what I was asking for ?

The script stops when the dialog pops out, when I manually click ok or cancel, the script continues as normal.

Good idea, I will try that.

How do I implement another script into the first one?  I would appreciate some code example as well.

Any idea why script pauses when it reaches Windows Security? Does anyone have a similar experience?

SOLVED!

The problem was in IE. IE waits for the page to load (because of windows security).

_IELinkClickByText also waits for the page to load so you must enter a value 0 for wait. In that case _IELinkClickByText won't wait for the page to load but rather continue the script and pass all values to Windows Security.

_IELinkClickByText($oIE, $toLog Or $toLog2,0,0)
