Start Mobile Partner at 24:00 (internet connection)

Recommended Posts

Hi, i would like to launch Mobile Partner at 24:00 (internet connection). I'm using windows planning utility (under Windows 10 64 bits), calling my exe file compiled from the following code:

#include <Constants.au3>

; Run Mobile Partner
Run("C:\Program Files (x86)\Mobile Partner\Mobile Partner.exe")

; Wait for the Mobile Partner to become active. The classname "Mobile Partner" is monitored instead of the window title
;WinWaitActive("[CLASS:C:\Program Files (x86)\Mobile Partner\Mobile Partner.exe]")

sleep (30000)

; Now connect pressing the space button
Send("{SPACE}")

the problem is that when i do my tests it generally works, not always: Mobile Partner is open but the connect button is unpressed.

when i turn on my PC at about 23:00 the morning after, the Mobile Partner is opened but the connect button is unpressed.

can you please help me?

thank you

1) i don't know if the above syntax its correct so i commented it ";" ad used sleep

2) tryed with WinWaitActive("[CLASS:C:\Program Files (x86)\Mobile Partner\Mobile Partner.exe]"), commenting sleep and have the same problem, the space button pressing (if i press space bar on the keyboar its like press the connect button by mouse) don't work.

I don't really think this would work. Can you use AutoIts WIndow Info tool to determine the correct window class?

If that doesn't work you can also try the window title instead of using a class.

Yeah that should be it!

If this won't work you can also try WinWaitActive("Mobile Partner").

this way work perfectly the other not

#include <Constants.au3>

; Run Mobile Partner
Run("C:\Program Files (x86)\Mobile Partner\Mobile Partner.exe")

; Wait for the Mobile Partner to become active. The classname "Mobile Partner" is monitored instead of the window title
WinWaitActive("Mobile Partner")

; Simulating the pressing of the space bar on the keyboard to connect
Send("{SPACE}")

Thank you so much

sorry but my english is not so good to read all those pages......

now, the code is the following

#include <Constants.au3>

; Run Mobile Partner
Run("C:\Program Files (x86)\Mobile Partner\Mobile Partner.exe")

; Wait for the Mobile Partner to become active. The classname "Mobile Partner" is monitored instead of the window title
WinWaitActive("[CLASS:Mobile Partner]", "", 10)

; Wait for 2 seconds to display the Mobile Partner window.
Sleep(2000)

; Simulating the pressing of the space bar on the keyboard to connect
Send("{SPACE}")

The problem is that the exe file i compiled works always, each time i launch it.

If its launched by the windows planning utility at certain time, especially if the monitor is OFF, the Mobile Partner opens but it not connect internet (like space bar key is not pressed).

When this happens if i press the space bar on the keyboard, nothing happens. If i click with the mouse on its window and then press the space bar on the keyboard it connects to internet

Saving energy options on the control panel are setted to high (no screen saver, no hd suspension and so on)
