Pause script until until Lotus Notes search is done.

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am trying to search for a user in my Global Address book in Lotus Notes.  I can automate that process however I'm trying to pause the script until the search is done but I am unsure on how to get that information.

Lotus Notes displays text on the lower left hand corner of the screen "Searching for "What ever user"  56bcb00230a98_LNisSeachingforTest.PNG.77 but I am unsure on how to grab that data and pause the script until it goes away.

I'm not sure WinWait would work for this.

Any help is greatly  appreciated.

Hi,

So I found a UDF called "ImageSeach"  but I cant get it to work.

#include <ImageSearch.au3>

HotKeySet("p", "checkForImage")

global $y = 0, $x = 0

Func checkForImage()
Local $search = _ImageSearch('LNSearch.bmp', 0, $y, $x, 0)
If $search = 1 Then
MsgBox(0, "Test", "Found you")
EndIf
EndFunc

Here is the error I am getting:

>"C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\SciTE\..\autoit3.exe" /ErrorStdOut "D:\Stuff\Scripts\SeachForImage.au3"
>Exit code: 3221225477    Time: 2.896
