Dgameman1
Hey guys! When I click a button on a certain webpage, I get a Javascript Alert Box with 2 options, OK and Cancel This is the information I get with the AutoIt v3 Window Info while the IE is visible Quote >>>> Window <<<< Title: Message from webpage Class: #32770 Position: 779, 465 Size: 380, 172 Style: 0x94C801C5 ExStyle: 0x00010101 Handle: 0x003E0580 >>>> Control <<<< Class: Button Instance: 1 ClassnameNN: Button1 Name: Advanced (Class): [CLASS:Button; INSTANCE:1] ID: 1 Text: OK Position: 172, 96 Size: 88, 26 ControlClick Coords: 50, 12 Style: 0x50030000 ExStyle: 0x00000004 Handle: 0x001D05C8 >>>> Mouse <<<< Position: 1009, 604 Cursor ID: 0 Color: 0xE1E1E1 >>>> StatusBar <<<< >>>> ToolsBar <<<< >>>> Visible Text <<<< OK Cancel Deleting these messages will also responses. Are you sure you want to delete them? >>>> Hidden Text <<<< How would I go about being able to click the OK button while IE is invisible, because the alertbox doesn't even show up when IE is invisible. This is what I tried so far WinWaitActive("[CLASS:Button; INSTANCE:1]", "OK") MsgBox("", "", "FOUND") ControlSend("[CLASS:Button; INSTANCE:1]", "OK", "", "{ENTER}") But I don't even get the MSGBOX to appear Edited March 7, 2016 by Dgameman1
AutoBert
If the snipet is your only scriptcode, it should work. If in the same script other code to, the other code wouldn't work in the time waiting for appearing msgbox.
mLipok
@Dgameman1 if your script using _IELoadWait then in some cases this can be a problem when you are trying to wait in situation when IE popup msgbox. You are waiting for IE but IE waitng for you. Dgameman1
I tested around and this is the snippet I'm using at the moment $TrashCan = $DeletedProfile.parentElement.parentElement.nextElementSibling.nextElementSibling.nextElementSibling.firstElementChild.firstElementChild _IEAction($TrashCan, "click") MsgBox("","","CHECK") The MSGBOX doesn't even appear until I manually click the OK/Cancel button on the alert. It's like the Alert Box is stopping my script from running for some reason? Edited March 7, 2016 by Dgameman1
Dgameman1
So the Alertbox appears right after _IEAction($TrashCan, "click") I put ConsoleWrite("First") _IEAction($TrashCan, "click") ConsoleWrite("Second") Second is not written in the console until I manually dismiss the dialog box. But then once I click Ok or Cancel, the console writes Second. It's like the Alert Box stops my script from running. Dgameman1
It just doesn't make sense to me why the script stops working once a Javascript alert appears
