Thomymaster
Hi I have a problem with includes. I have 2 shared libraries which are used by many of my programs -baseFuncs.au3 (shared functions for all programms) -DBFuncs.au3 (only DB/MySQL related) In my main program i include baseFuncs.au3, which itself includes DBFuncs.au3 (because some functions inside baseFuncs.au3 already do thinks with the DB). Now this works fine (no au3checks warnings/errors on the main program and baseFuncs.au3), but when i run au3check on DBFuncs.au3 it complains about missing includes like Array.au3 (needed by some functions there). If i then include Array.au3 in DBFuncs.au3 there are no errors there but then in baseFuncs.au3 it says that there are doubled-includes (because baseFuncs itself has Array.au3 included for some functions). How do i get around this problem? Best, Thomas
AutoBert
use #include-once at top of your UDF's
Thomymaster
Hi I have that already in baseFuncs.au3 and DBFuncs.au3 but this doesn't help. It keeps complaining about i.e. Array.au3 which i need in both libraries Best, Thomas
JohnOne
include Array.au3 in your main script before others. Remove if from anywhere else. Array.au3 already contain #include-Once So you can add this #include <Array.au3> in any of your own script/udf's So if you want to check your own UDFs with Au3Check you must add #include ... for each Standard UDF which you want to use in selected your own UDF Signature beginning:* Please remember: "AutoIt"..... * Wondering who uses AutoIt and what it can be used for ? * Forum Rules ** ADO.au3 UDF * POP3.au3 UDF * XML.au3 UDF * IE on Windows 11 * How to ask ChatGPT for AutoIt Code * for other useful stuff click the following button: Spoiler Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind.
