Wallfire
i just recently recived a bunch of small pics that came from screen shoots on another computer that was running in a diffrent resolution than mine. is it possible to 'convert' the pics made in higher resolution so that they would match my lower resolution screen? does this make sense? if you understand what im trying to do, then could you first tell me if it is even possible to convert? and if so how? once i know all that i can prob make my own script in auoit that will do it. i just dont know if it is even possible to begin with. :cheer: awww...wheres the chick? CyberSlug
I agree with josbe I thought of IrfanView when I saw your post title because it supports batch conversion and an excellent assortment of command-line options. etn
I'd also recommend ImageMagick. It has command line tools to do everything you can imagine. It makes them easy to add to scripts.ImageMagick Homepage
jhbell
What you want is called Resizing an image...take the 1024x768 pixels and resample to create a 800x600 image or 640x368 image. Most Graphic viewere will do this automatically without you having to change the image file..Usually called the Best Fit option
