can I do that from command line or .cmd file ?

I need that after running some registry tweaks.

Compile your script to an Exe and then call it.

this is what I doing now

the .exe is runned by my .cmd file

but IF I can write only one line in the .cmd file

wich will do the same thing [refresh desktop]

will be better

Running a compiled Exe IS a single line. So why would another oner-liner be better?
