Retrieve div value based on name

Hi Guys,

Need a help. How to extract a div "value" based on "name" from the below code? In this case, I need "79067" as output.

I tried the below code but no result. Please help.

$Elements = $oIEF.document.getElementsByName("folderid")
MsgBox(0, "", $Elements.length)

Again same error. I think, as I am using online Autoit compiler, it's not recognizing the function _IEquerySelectorAll. I am working on my office laptop and not allowed to install Autoit, hence using online compiler.

Hey MichaelHB... "folderid" is not an element but an innertext I guess, however, let me give a try. Will keep you posted. Thanks

I checked the article. No specific function name is mentioned. Can you help with that?

Michael, partial success.  I am now getting the length of "value" which is 5 but I am not getting the actual value (79067)

Thanks mLipok but as I mentioned earlier, I am using the online Autoit compiler and not the SciTE editor where I can add this function in IE.au3 in Include folder. I guess this compiler takes the old native IE.au3 code set and hence not recognizing this new function. But I am definitely gonna try this code on my Desktop machine once I am back home. Thanks a ton.

There is 5 elements in the website with the name "folderid", just use For/Next to get to value you want. Like this:

However, it doesn't shows the actual value. It's not recognizing "item($i)" function and giving error.

I beg your pardon but honestly, I don't understand what do you mean by "add this function to your main script". How to add? Kindly help in laymen term.

add is the layperson term, for offering as an addendum.  He means quite literally copy that function and paste it into your script (at the very bottom would probably be the most logical place) prior to hitting F5/F7.

I'm not wrong my friend. The function "getElementByName" returns the colletion of all elements with that name (they could have different TAGs), and length brings you the number of the elements. Try a different approach:

#include <IE.au3>

$oIE = _IEAttach("", "instance", 1)
$Elements = $oIE.document.getElementsByName("folderid")
MsgBox(0, "Number of Elements", $Elements.length)

For $Element In $Elements
    MsgBox(0, "Element Value", $Element.value)
Next
