No idea about JavaScript but I'm pretty sure if you know JavaScript all you have to do is to read AutoIT Help file.

In the other hand if you don't know JavaScript then you have to read JavaScript Help File and also AutoIT help file and you can do it.

Looks like you're converting a UTF array of characters to ansi string? Idk javascript, I know some C++, are you doing it like that because in javascript strings are char*?

StringToBinary
BinaryToString

Also look for "Unicode Support" under the search tab in the help file.
