faustf,

The status bar shows for me.

There was a problem some time ago when if you created a menu before a status bar it has hidden but as you can see that was fixed in v3.3.13.2 - what AutoIt version are you running?

faustf,

As I explained above, in v3.3.12.0 you could not create a status bar after a menu - this was corrected in v3.3.13.2. So as you run an earlier version you will still have this problem.

Try jpm's suggestion of creating the status bar after having displayed the GUI with GUISetState and see if it works for you.

Did you read what he said, it wasn't fixed until 3.3.13.2, so what would you think the answer is?

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
