@rayane888 you would have to run two scripts: your main script and then a second that watches for that process to terminate.

Since you're posting in an AutoIt forum (and not the VBScript subforum) I meant you would use two AutoIt scripts, no vbscript. You compile one to do the work you want it to do (e.g. ScriptWork.exe). You then compile another script (e.g. ScriptWatch.exe) to send up a MsgBox if the first closes. Something like this:

#include <MsgBoxConstants.au3>

If ProcessExists("WorkScript.exe") Then _watchMe()

Func _watchMe()
    While 1
        If ProcessClose("WorkScript.exe") Then MsgBox($MB_OK, "WorkScript", "Hey, you closed me")
    WEnd
EndFunc

Even easier

While 1
    RunWait("WorkScript.exe")
WEnd

This way, you start the program from the first one, when it gets closed it immediately restarts it.

You can use FileInstall to "package" your WorkScript.exe inside the watcher script's exe file.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
