Operating in windowed mode

Recommended Posts

So I am having an issue, and I would like to know if anyone else has had the same issue...  If so how did you correct it?

The issue is this.. I wrote code based on the program being open and in full screen mode.. That part of my code works great..  I decided to change it to windowed mode... and this is where I am running into issues...

opt("Mousecoordmode",0)

Winactivate("xxxxx")

mouseclick("left",x,y,1,1)

and so forth... but it jumps to the specified window and then back to autoit.... Is there something that I am missisng here???

What is the app you're trying to manipulate? Why are you Mouseclicking instead of using Control Click?

What is the window? You would use the AutoIt Window Info tool (same directory where you installed AutoIt) and hover over the control. Then you can ControlClick right on that control (button, combobox, whatever). Window doesn't even have to be active.
