Read from hosts file, pull out IP

I'm new to AutoIt and I am trying to find a way to pull only the IP addresses out of a hosts file, and writing that the IP addresses to a new file. I've played around with FileReadToArray, but not having much luck with getting this figured out. I was wanting to see if anyone has tried or accomplished this w/ AutoIT.
