Autoit Chr, Asc definitions

Hi ! Can you give me a complete definition of the built in functions : Asc() and Chr() , if you don't mind of course.

Seems pretty straight forward from the help file.

I mean the whole block of code for those functions . That's what i meant through 'definition'.

the examples in helpfile contains the "whole block" of code. More is not needed.

You mean something like

Func Asc($sChar)
    Switch $sChar
        Case "0"
            Return Null
        ...
        Case "32"
            Return " "
        Case "33"
            Return "!"

?

@rcmaehl: you are using a reserved word for your func. The func Asc is a native func in AutoIt, so i suggest read helpfile too or test next time your scripts.

Non-sense, it's not an actual script, it's an example, posted as a question, used for clarification.

AutoIt3.exe is closed source, but maybe @Jos is so friendly and give it to you.

AutoIt code is closed source, so no hope. Anyway, given the specifications found in the help file, how these functions work is pretty obvious (to me).

What do you find unclear?

These are mutual exclusive and the first part overrides the second part, so it's a NoGo when it isn't part of the open source version posted
