I have the notepad program, the EXACT same one fom the help file, nothing changed for sure.

I zipped it up to send to someone else, and when I unzipped it I found that whenever you try to run it, strange things happen

The AutoIt icon multiplies several times PER SECOND and never stops, my computer lags like heck, and my toolbar is full of hundreds of AutoIt icons. I have to reboot, because my computer is lagging too much for me to force quit AutoIt, and obvioly with hundreds of icons and counting, I could never manage to close them all.

What on earth has happened to that script ??

let me guess. you named the script NOTEPAD.exe ?

You create a new script with:

While 1
    ProcessClose('Notepad.exe')
WEnd

And run it. No reboot needed so long as you do it promptly.
