ByRef in com?

Hello everyone.

I am having a little problem with a com object that I'm using. It requires me to pass an array in a method as an argument, but it needs it to be passed

ByRef so that it can change it. How can I do that? I do it like this at the moment.

$Raga1.Recorder.Monitor.GetDataVb2($Buffer,0,ByRef $indata)

However, I get an error in the expression. What am I doing wrong? If I don't use ByRef, it will pass the array's value and not it's reference, but if I

use ByRef it crashes. What can I do?

Unfortunately, this is a limitation with parameter passing in COM. All I can think to try is to make $indata a Global variable in your main routine and then insure you use the same variable name in your function. I have not tried this, but seems logical to me that it would serve the same purpose.
