Syntax

I help develop an Open Source project (a password manager that can send keys to web pages when the user wants to logon - it is not a scripting language).  I really like your curly bracket syntax and the use of '+' and '!' for Shift and Alt etc.

We already do similar functions but using this syntax would allow more keys to be added very simply.

Are there any licence/copyright issues for using the same syntax in the open source project for the same function?

Many thanks

DrK,

Thank you very much for taking the trouble to ask.

I do not believe that there would be any problem at all in using AutoIt syntax for the same sort of function - after all, how many ways are there to arrange code syntax? I will point the AutoIt author to this thread, but I suggest that unless you hear otherwise very shortly you assume that he is content.
