Plus Array variables

Recommended Posts

Hi Again :)

This is code reading File To array :

$aArray = FileReadToArray(@ScriptDir & "\Calc.txt")
    If @error Then
    Else
        For $i = 0 To UBound($aArray) - 1 ; Loop through the array.
_GUICtrlListBox_AddString($idListBox, StringFormat($aArray[$i])) ; should look more like this

; Read File To Array is Done
;~         ExitLoop  Dont exit loop unless there is an error handler
        Next
    EndIf

Simply what i need is something to Plus all variables which inside this Calc.txt

For Example :

calc.txt Contains :

1

2

3

$TotalCalc= 6

I tried this but it didn't work :

$TotalCalc=$aArray+$aArray

Something like this?

Global $TotalCalc = 0
$aArray = FileReadToArray(@ScriptDir & "\Calc.txt")
If @error Then
Else

    For $i = 0 To UBound($aArray) - 1 ; Loop through the array.
_GUICtrlListBox_AddString($idListBox, StringFormat($aArray[$i])) ; should look more like this
        $TotalCalc += $aArray[$i]
; Read File To Array is Done
;~         ExitLoop  Dont exit loop unless there is an error handler
    Next
EndIf

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

Where is the format specification?

From the Help file

Quote

If a format specification is invalid, the behaviour is undefined. If you specify invalid input you can in special circumstances create unhandled exception and cause program termination.
