Control handle does not has any value

Recommended Posts

I tried to print the values of handle of Process, Window and Handle. I am getting some value for Process and Window but nothing is shown for control handle. I inspected the Window with AutoIt Info tool and was able to see that the tool bar has ClasssnameNN value as AVL_AVView1 and some hex value for handle.

I have pasted the code here for reference. Why am I not able to print the control handle in the script?

Local $prid = Run("D:/Softwares/Adobe/Reader/Reader/AcroRd32.exe")
Local $hnPrw = WinWaitActive("Adobe Reader")
Local $hnCnt = ControlGetHandle($hnPrw, "", "[CLASS:AVL_AVView1]")

ConsoleWrite("Process Id : " & $prid & @LF)
ConsoleWrite("Window Handle : " & $hnPrw & @LF)

If 0 == $hnCnt Then
   ConsoleWrite("Equals zero : " & $hnCnt & @LF)
ElseIf 0 <> $hnCnt Then
   ConsoleWrite("Not equals zero : " & $hnCnt & @LF)
Else
   ConsoleWrite("Neither nor equals zero : " & $hnCnt & @LF)
EndIf

ProcessClose($prid)

The output is as below

>"D:\Softwares\AutoIt3\SciTE\..\autoit3.exe" /ErrorStdOut "D:\Election\Find_Duplicate\control_handle.au3"
Process Id : 3364
Window Handle : 0x001C038A
Neither nor equals zero :
>Exit code: 0    Time: 0.557
