Hi,

I use this script to change and restore system date

#include <Date.au3>
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <MsgBoxConstants.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>

Global $g_idMemo

Example()

Func Example()
    Local $tCur, $tNew

    ; Create GUI
    GUICreate("Time", 400, 300)
    $g_idMemo = GUICtrlCreateEdit("", 2, 2, 396, 296, $WS_VSCROLL)
    GUICtrlSetFont($g_idMemo, 9, 400, 0, "Courier New")
    GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)
    ; Get current system time
    $tCur = _Date_Time_GetSystemTime()
    MemoWrite("Current system date/time .: " & _Date_Time_SystemTimeToDateTimeStr($tCur))

    ; Set new system time
    $tNew = _Date_Time_EncodeSystemTime(10, 12, 2016)
    If Not _Date_Time_SetSystemTime($tNew) Then
        MsgBox($MB_SYSTEMMODAL, "Error", "System clock cannot be SET" & @CRLF & @CRLF & _WinAPI_GetLastErrorMessage())
        Exit
    EndIf
    $tNew = _Date_Time_GetSystemTime()
    MemoWrite("New system date/time .....: " & _Date_Time_SystemTimeToDateTimeStr($tNew))

    ; Restore system time
    _Date_Time_SetSystemTime($tCur)

    ; Get current system time
    $tCur = _Date_Time_GetSystemTime()
    MemoWrite("Current system date/time .: " & _Date_Time_SystemTimeToDateTimeStr($tCur))

    ; Loop until the user exits.
    Do
    Until GUIGetMsg() = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
EndFunc

; Write a line to the memo control
Func MemoWrite($sMessage)
    GUICtrlSetData($g_idMemo, $sMessage & @CRLF, 1)
EndFunc   ;==>MemoWrite

The script modifies and restores date and time, however I want to change and restore only the date and not the time.

Is it possible?

trof,

As we asked in this thread, please explain why you want to do this before anyone offers any help.

trof,

Really? And how do you think you are going to manage that?
