_IsPressed in a loop + abnormal conditions?

Recommended Posts

The only alternative that would work is the WinAPI_GetAsyncState, but it's just the same as using _IsPressed except it's written to use the VK* key constants.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I think there is a misunderstanding. Sorry. English is not my native language.

It's simply not possible to use HotKeySet in my case. It is considered more risky with mentioned environment. I just can't use it-- it's blocked. :)

What is the name of the application that blocks it? If you use a general answer instead of the EXACT NAME of the application - I will consider you to be evasive in your responses to get around forum rules. So far you have not answer peoples question so now you are being asked directly - The name please.

Practical example:

HotKeySet("+!d", "ShowMessage") ; Shift-Alt-d
If _IsPressed("20") = True And _IsPressed("59") = True Then
        ShowMessage()
    EndIf

Sure, keys are different, but why would you not be able to use either?

Spoiler

Renamer - Rename files and folders, remove portions of text from the filename etc.

GPO Tool - Export/Import Group policy settings.

MirrorDir - Synchronize/Backup/Mirror Folders

BeatsPlayer - Music player.

Params Tool - Right click an exe to see it's parameters or execute them.

String Trigger - Triggers pasting text or applications or internet links on specific strings.

Inconspicuous - Hide files in plain sight, not fully encrypted.

Regedit Control - Registry browsing history, quickly jump into any saved key.

Time4Shutdown - Write the time for shutdown in minutes.

Power Profiles Tool - Set a profile as active, delete, duplicate, export and import.

Finished Task Shutdown - Shuts down pc when specified window/Wndl/process closes.

NetworkSpeedShutdown - Shuts down pc if download speed goes under "X" Kb/s.

IUIAutomation - Topic with framework and examples

Au3Record.exe

Sorry. I personally think it's the other way around. And I did answer.. it's just that there are some restrictions related to the environment. Do note that most of the things I do are not available to public (until fixed by developers). It's certainly not the case for keyloggers and other suspicions that anyone might have as you could use both (or other methods). I cannot provide you with a name but it's a security product and this example has nothing to do with breaking rules or evasion at all. (In fact protection against keylogging does not exist. That's a separate product.)

I really hope this clears up the confusion I caused.

IsPressed does not set a hotkey. That's what I want. :D

misrepresentative,

I have no idea whether it will cope with whatever it is that you are doing, but have you tried using an Adlib function on a fast cycle to look for the keypress? That should run independently of the script itself.
