Binding one key to another

Hello.

What I'm trying is to do so key "f" treated as "6". I got this code:

HotKeySet("{f}", "fPress")

while true
   sleep(100)
WEnd

func fPress()
   Send("{6}")
EndFunc

And it works, but not the way I want it to work. Instead of having "6" pressed and released at the same time as "f" pressed and released, it generates short "impulses" of pressing 6. It works something like:

("F"down.................................................................."F"up)

("6"down...."6"up)("6"down...."6"up)("6"down...."6"up)

I need these keyup/keydown events to fire at the same time like:

("F"down.................................................................."F"up)

("6"down.................................................................."6"up)

I tried to google it for a couple hours, didn't really found any working solution.

Thanks in advance.

@rsod, what exactly are you trying to do by firing 6 continually, where you can't just input 6 into the application? The better you can explain (what app you're in, what your goal is, etc.) the better we can help.

rsod,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum.

Unfortunately you appear to have missed the Forum rules on your way in. Please read them now - particularly the bit about not discussing game automation - and then you will understand why you will get no help and this thread will now be locked.

See you soon with a legitimate question I hope.
