I've recently been given the task of writing a GUI in Windows. I have zilch experience with this. I can program in (ANSI) C but not C++ I will need GUIs inside GUIs. Is this possible with AutoIt? I originally was involved with a project some 13 years ago and 'persuaded' to work with a couple of IT guys. The IT guys wrote a GUI in Flash which I got dumped with when they left the project. Nightmare to edit. I'm primarily an electronics engineer, not an IT technician. However the customer now wants the original LINUX programs to run under Windows. Now the GUI within GUI. At one point the user is presented with a screen which will begin a machine measurement procedure but requires data input before running. I envisage the now foreground GUI to take data entry which the original (background) GUI will use. The original GUI will also display results in both alphanumerical and graphical formats. Perhaps this will be a GUI within GUI. (I am away for a couple of hours - snowed in trying to get to office) The most powerful number in the Universe. Zero.
