iamtheky Posted January 16, 2017 Share Posted January 16, 2017 (edited) The first time you run 'bash' from the command line it has 'downloading from windows store' portion. Anyone have any insight to the commands being executed? My baselining script would greatly benefit. Thank you. and the goal is to download things from the store and install them, bash was just an example of something doing it (or at least saying that it does it). iamtheky Posted January 16, 2017 Author Share Posted January 16, 2017 idk, that seems to go into the weeds quick. this thread mentions that its an ftp get https://github.com/Microsoft/BashOnWindows/issues/524 but, if there is a repo somewhere of stuff from the store, my google is not returning it. ,-. .--. ________ .-. .-. ,---. ,-. .-. .-. .-. |(| / /\ \ |\ /| |__ __||| | | || .-' | |/ / \ \_/ )/ (_) / /__\ \ |(\ / | )| | | `-' | | `-. | | / __ \ (_) | | | __ | (_)\/ | (_) | | .-. | | .-' | | \ |__| ) ( | | | | |)| | \ / | | | | | |)| | `--. | |) \ | | `-' |_| (_) | |\/| | `-' /( (_)/( __.' |((_)-' /(_| '-' '-' (__) (__) (_) (__) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
