Moderators Melba23 Posted January 17, 2017 Moderators Share Posted January 17, 2017 JeffQOOQAAA, StringInStr can do that: Global $aList[] = ["UMAegegeg", "Ueegegeg", "Mfefgegegeg"] $sSearch = "UMA" For $i = 0 To UBound($aList) - 1 If StringInStr($aList[$i], $sSearch) Then MsgBox($MB_SYSTEMMODAL, "Found", $aList[$i]) EndIf Next But please pay attention to where you post - the "Examples" section where you started this thread is clearly marked: "Do not post general support questions here". I have moved it for you, but would ask you to be more careful in future. JeffQOOQAAA
Hi Melba23 Sorry to bother. If I want to use StringRegExp function Can I do this?
InunoTaishou
Idk why you'd want to use a regexp for this but #include <MsgBoxConstants.au3> Global $aList[] = ["UMAegegeg", "Ueegegeg", "Mfefgegegeg"] $sSearch = "UMA" For $i = 0 To UBound($aList) - 1 If StringRegExp($aList[$i], $sSearch) Then MsgBox($MB_SYSTEMMODAL, "Found", $aList[$i]) EndIf Next
