icarrion
I have searched and searched the forums to no avail. Plus searching for "script + pause" seems to break the search. Not sure why. I have a script, which is solid as long as it continues running. The problem I'm having is a user may do something (ie: click on any app on the system tray) that causes my script to pause. Then the user has to close it and reopen it so that it continues. It sometimes (rarely, but it does) pauses when the user interacts with another app like word/excel. Is it possible to force the script to never pause (probably impossible) OR to recognize when it's in the PAUSE state and will either kill itself and relaunch, or unpause itself. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks!
Moderators SmOke_N Posted December 2, 2005 Moderators Share Posted December 2, 2005 Huh? ... Don't really understand what your asking with no code ... My only suggestion is put this at the top of your script: #NoTrayIcon Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
MHz
Look at Break() in the helpfile. This will disable the pause menu in the systray icon. You may want to look at Opt('TrayIconHide', 1) or #NoTrayIcon to hide the systray icon.
