Dizzy
Hi, i have a word-document of 4 pages. The pages 1-3 should be printed on paper of tray 1 (standard tray). The pages 3+4 should be printed on paper of tray 2 (special paper). How can i do this without installing 2 printer on ervery workstation. How can i change the trays? Thx
kpu
I don't think it's possible to set things to print to different trays during one print job unless you have the trays configured for different size pages and your print job uses different size pages. What kind of printer are you using. If it's an hp 4XXXTN, you should be able to set the tray configuration on the PC. But if you want to automate a printer install, see the printui.dll commandhttp://www.robvanderwoude.com/index.html http://www.kpunderground.com
Dizzy
Hi kpu,hmm - perhaps i was not exactlym enough.I have one document with 4 pages. So in the first printjob i can print my pages on tray one and directly the second print job should print the others on tray 2.My problem is to change the trays ... And it is not one single printer - there are different models which shoud do this work.Installing a second printer is not desired. Any ideas?Greets JensI don't think it's possible to set things to print to different trays during one print job unless you have the trays configured for different size pages and your print job uses different size pages. AutoIt should start a print job of the first 2 Pages on the tray1 and second print job with other pages on tray2 so that it is simpler for the user to print such a document.GreetsJens
