How to separate a value in an ini key and declare in one line

Recommended Posts

Hi, i having a throuble trying to do it (in one line)

IniRead("Example.ini","test","value","100,200")

; in one line, then line above will be:

Global $aValue = [100,200]

I tried StringSplit but it create an array instead of a value, then i cannot not

Ok. it worked.:shifty:

$aValue = StringSplit(IniRead("Example.ini","test","value","100,200"),",",2)

MsgBox(0,"",$aValue[1])

Why the requirement to do it in just1 line? Why not take a little longer and read the array elements individually?

I am declaring the value of some coordinates of a config section, and i am thinking that i will need make more declarations, then in one line it looks better

You would need to define each line as numbers for example:

Local $aNumber = StringSplit(IniRead("My.ini", "String", "Number", ""), ".", 2)
MsgBox(48, "Original Var Type", "Original Var Type for " & $aNumber[0] & " = " & VarGetType($aNumber[0]) & @CRLF & _
    "Original Var Type for " & $aNumber[1] & " = " & VarGetType($aNumber[1]) & @CRLF)
MsgBox(48, "Defined Var Type", "Defined Var Type for " & Number($aNumber[0]) & " = " & VarGetType(Number($aNumber[0])) & @CRLF & _
    "Defined Var Type for " & Number($aNumber[1]) & " = " & VarGetType(Number($aNumber[1])) & @CRLF)
