AD need to return group name list

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Pretty straight forward.  If I search in ADUC, I can search for a partial group name.  So if my group name was app.airwatch.users, I could search using app.airwatch and it would return.  All I want to do is use autoit to do this same partial search and return it to a combo box.  I do not see a function like this in the AD UDF.

Thanks

I believe you can use the _AD_GetObjectsInOU function combined with an LDAP query string to search.  I am unable to test right now, but I think it'd be something like this.

Local $aObjects[1][1]
$aObjects = _AD_GetObjectsInOU("","(&(objectCategory=group)(name=app.airwatch*))")

Correct. That should do the trick :)
