Iczer
I need PCRE dll for my project, but it seems latest versions is not provided on their PCRE site. Is there a simple way (preferably very simple :)) to compile my own x64 regexp dll so I can use it as in AutoIt script (StringRegExp() and StringRegExpReplace() functions ) What (freeware IDE/Compiler ) I need to get for it? jchd
I'd recommend switching to PCRE2 as PCRE is now in maintenance mode. PCRE2 is greatly improved in countless points and features. Neither of PCRE2 or PCRE are provided in binary. You need to compile it by yourself. Compiler is your preference. EDIT: forgot to mention that PCRE* don't offer a built-in "replace" primitive. Even AutoIt StringRegExp() is a number of API invokations. PCRE2 docs tells you eveything about this API. EDIT2: just in case it could be of any use, there is a legacy PCRE regexp support add-on which allows things like: select this, that from mytable where regexp(this, <pattern>) Edited May 24, 2017 by jchd This wonderful site allows debugging and testing regular expressions (many flavors available).
