vagabond719
I am using the attached file to build a connection to MS Access. This is part of an application I am building and we are using Access just as a proof of concept. The issue I am having is occasionally two people are trying to write at the same time. Is is possible to see if Access is in use before proceeding? access.au3 Edited June 6, 2017 by vagabond719
jguinch
You can check if msaccess.exe is running with ProcessExist Spoiler Network configuration UDF, _DirGetSizeByExtension, _UninstallList Firefox ConfigurationArray multi-dimensions, Printer Management UDF

vagabond719
Actually I was wrong it will still fail on $conn.Open($DSN) and I cannot check the state until it is open.
water
What is the value of @error and @extended after the connection fails? Usually this tells you what went wrong. vagabond719
First off Water big fan. Thanks for taking a look at my question. I have not used @error and @extended so I hope I am using them correctly. I added like this. $conn.Open($DSN) If @error Then MsgBox(0,"",@error & @CR & @extended) I get back: -2147352567
