laolas
i would like to have a timer how long the program was opened, so i figured out a easy way to make it by making screenshots form the desktop where the time is in the right corner... but my problem is that when i make a screen only one is made because the file name allready exist, how i mage it to save the screenshot with a random generated name ? like "1232asd2.jpg" #include <ScreenCapture.au3> _ScreenCapture_Capture(@DesktopDir & "\GDIPlus_Image1.jpg")
BrewManNH
Is this an AutoIt program you're talking about, or just some random program? Either way, look in the help file for TimerInit and TimerDiff, or use something like the @HOUR/MIN/SEC macros. Screenshotting the clock is very rube goldberg. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted June 6, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 6, 2017 No one is being mean, but this forum is dedicated to helping people with their own scripts, not just writing them for you. Have you tried it with a different name rather than the @HOUR macro? And are you sure it should be a / and not a \ ? "Profanity is the last vestige of the feeble mind. BrewManNH
My suggestion had nothing to do with screen capturing. If all you're using the screenshot for is to note the time, there's a heck of a lot of ways that are better than that to get the information. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Belini
To sort you can use Random () and to take time you can use _NowCalc () and _DateDiff () #include <ScreenCapture.au3> #include <Date.au3> local $initial_date = _NowCalc() sleep(3000) $Time_seconds = _DateDiff('s', $initial_date, _NowCalc()) MsgBox(4096, 'Finished', "The computer has been: " & $Time_seconds & " seconds") Local $name = '' For $i = 1 To 6 $name &= Chr(Random(97, 122, 1)) Next _ScreenCapture_Capture(@DesktopDir & "\" & $name & ".jpg"); name = randomized _ScreenCapture_Capture(@DesktopDir & "\" & @hour & "_" & @min & "_" & @sec & ".jpg"); name = Hour, minute, and second My Codes: Virtual Key Code UDF: http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic/138246-virtual-key-code-udf/ GuiSplashTextOn.au3: http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic/143542-guisplashtexton-udf/ Menu versions of Autoit: http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic/137435-menu-versions-of-autoit/#entry962011 Selects first folder of letters: ]http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic/144780-select-folders-by-letter/#entry1021708/spoiler] List files and folders with long addresses.: http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic/144910-list-files-and-folders-with-long-addresses/#entry102 2926 Program JUKEBOX made in Autoit:some functions:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJ2tC2fD5Qs Navigation to search:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lblwOFIbgtQ
