Recommended Posts

I am facing an error in windows server while running AutoIt script "Recording has been done under a different Keyboard layout(00004009->00000409)". I have tried many scenarios to debug but nothing works. I have again recorded same AutoIt script.it works fine that day and again throws the same error on next day. how to Fix

My code

#region --- Au3Recorder generated code Start (v3.3.9.5 KeyboardLayout=00000409)  ---

#region --- Internal functions Au3Recorder Start ---
Func _Au3RecordSetup()
Opt('WinWaitDelay',100)
Opt('WinDetectHiddenText',1)
Opt('MouseCoordMode',0)
Local $aResult = DllCall('User32.dll', 'int', 'GetKeyboardLayoutNameW', 'wstr', '')
If $aResult[1] <> '00000409' Then
  MsgBox(64, 'Warning', 'Recording has been done under a different Keyboard layout' & @CRLF & '(00000409->' & $aResult[1] & ')')
EndIf

EndFunc

Func _WinWaitActivate($title,$text,$timeout=0)
    WinWait($title,$text,$timeout)
    If Not WinActive($title,$text) Then WinActivate($title,$text)
    WinWaitActive($title,$text,$timeout)
EndFunc

_AU3RecordSetup()
#endregion --- Internal functions Au3Recorder End ---

_WinWaitActivate("Add Template","")
MouseClick("left",380,154,1)
#endregion --- Au3Recorder generated code End ---

You could just get rid of the lines that are checking to see if the keyboard layout is the same and see if that works.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

what happens if I set the default  layout to 000409(US English) using the below function

Does it works

Func _WinAPI_SetKeyboardLayout($sLayout, $hWnd)

    If Not WinExists($hWnd) Then
        Return SetError(1, 0, 0)
    EndIf

    Local $Ret = DllCall('user32.dll', 'long', 'LoadKeyboardLayout', 'str', StringFormat('%08s', StringStripWS($sLayout, 8)), 'int', 0)

    If (@error) Or ($Ret[0] = 0) Thenhttp://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd318693(VS.85).aspx
        Return SetError(1, 0, 0)
    EndIf
    DllCall('user32.dll', 'ptr', 'SendMessage', 'hwnd', $hWnd, 'int', 0x0050, 'int', 1, 'int', $Ret[0])
    Return SetError(0, 0, 1)
EndFunc   ;==>_WinAPI_SetKeyboardLayout
