Hi guys! :)

I have a Window and I want to interact with its controls.

Using AutoIt Window Info, I can grab only the window title and class, and nothing else. All its controls is not recognized by the AutoIt tool.

So can someone help me? Is there any solution to interact with this window controls? I must give focus to, read and write a textbox in this window.

Thanks !!!

Monica

Try this UDF:

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

Back up and restore Windows user files _Array.au3 - Modified array functions that include support for 2D arrays.  -  ColorChooser - An add-on for SciTE that pops up a color dialog so you can select and paste a color code into a script.  -  Customizable Splashscreen GUI w/Progress Bar - Create a custom "splash screen" GUI with a progress bar and custom label.  -  _FileGetProperty - Retrieve the properties of a file  -  SciTE Toolbar - A toolbar demo for use with the SciTE editor  -  GUIRegisterMsg demo - Demo script to show how to use the Windows messages to interact with controls and your GUI.  -   Latin Square password generator

Thanks BrewMan... great work, congratulations! But not work for my situation... :(

I've play a little with simplespy.au3, and it recognize the "normal" window (I've Windows 7 32 bit installed) with all all infos. The app I'd like to interact with is a really strange application, I suppose web-based. It's a financial app, so I think I can't explain name here... When I press the CTRL+W, your application grab info but "Program manager" is returned as title. I suppose it can't see the app window, and return the desktop infos.

PS: the Autoit Info basic tool read the window title correctly, but only this...

Thanks for your help!! :/
