jmacatx
I have an expect script that I've used to solve a problem on Linux and now I have to do the same thing on the windows side so I'm looking at autoit and thought I'd ask for some help. The problem is easily solve with expect and my expect script is below. How do I do the same type of thing in autoit where I start the program and pass response to prompts? /usr/bin/expect -c 'spawn myprogram sleep 2 expect "*?lease enter your user id *:*" sleep 2 send "\\r" sleep 2 expect "*?lease enter password for user id *:*" sleep 2 send "#{my_passwd}\\r" sleep 2 expect "drm> " sleep 2 send -- "quit\\r"' Thanks
Moderators Melba23 Posted August 10, 2017 Moderators Share Posted August 10, 2017 jmacatx, Welcome to the AutoIt forums. Your script seems pretty easy to convert to AutoIt. Look in the Help file for the following functions: Sleep, Send, Inputbox and see what you can produce - you know where we are if you run into problems.
