.mdb database 500mb

Recommended Posts

Access 2007 stopped to open the database (file .mdb 500Mg). Maybe it has something to do with the problems encountered with the hard drive? Anyway I get this error:

"During the last opened document *** caused a serious error. Continue its opening?"

I click Confirm and get the next message: "Requires database restore ...".

I confirm it, and then begins the process of recovery and after a while gives a message that :

"Microsoft Office Access - an error is detected. The application will be closed. ..."

Any help! Is there some manuals or tools to fix this error?

RobertHarrison,

No doubt someone will be along with a nice payware solution in a while - then I can ban you both for astroturfing.

@Danp2 When a Mod has entered into a thread, especially one as obviously suspect as this one, common sense would dictate staying out of it. Snarky comments from the rest of the community don't help.

To begin, create a new database. And from it, try to pull out by importing all the tables. If it turns out - well, if not, then try some access recovery tool like Access Recovery Toolbox for recovery access information from corrupted database files in * .mdb, .accdb format that are used by Microsoft Access. Maybe this will help?

RobertHarrison, GonzaloMendez,

A quicker response than I was expecting. But anyway, goodbye to the pair of you - both permanently banned from the forum and you will be flagged as spammers too.
