Restart of an application script

Recommended Posts

Hi,

If anyone would have some input on this I'd appreciate it.

I have a need to write with AUTOIT a script that is running all the time and restarts an application when it crashes.
I'd like to end/kill the process and restart the program. Only thing is that it requires two hits of "Enter" once the application is started.

Long story short:
When program crashes:

1. Monitor the program
2. Kill/Start process
3. 2 times Enter
4. Continue monitoring

Thank you in advance!!!

What you need is

Local $aProcessList = ProcessList('theapplication.exe')
If $aProcessList[0][0] = 0 Then
;Restart app
;Send Enter.
;you get the idea

Start something and then come back if you have any questions. ;)
