Deye
didn't yet get a chance to dig this one up, To start a child process elevated I'm choosing shelexecute from an elevated process if the first process exits it screws up the child process Q. anyone knows of a nice way to detach the child process from its parent or attach it to another significant one Edit: The problem was in MsgBox s hwnd parameter which was used in the second script >pointing to hwnd of the first script< instead: for the second script I'm going to now use its own autoit window, by first moving it to the window placement of the first script good enough .. Thanks Edited September 29, 2017 by Deye
