kaprot
Hi all, I'm trying to find the full path of a file. My goal is to open that file with Word. I only know part of the path and part of filename. As an example: C:\XXX\YYY\xxx\yyy\zzzZZZzzz.docx where x,y,z = something I don't know X,Y,Z = something I know I can obtain the full path with a simple DOS command: dir /b/s "C:\XXX\YYY\*ZZZ*" I've tryed to use the same filter with FileFindFirstFile() but it doesn't work. It returns -1. It seems that I need the complete path before the filename and I can't use more that one wildcard in the file name itself. Is there another way to use FileFindFirstFile()? Or, is there a way to execute DOS command and read/take the result?
