Obtain Custom Key Outputs

Recommended Posts

was just wondering if any of you out there know how to obtain "Special Keys" (such as Logitech G1 keys or extra mouse buttons) and make them usable inside of a script; such as this...

Global $CustomKeypress

Assign("CustomKeypress","""{ESC}""") ;instead of ESC, set to whatever custom keypress

HotKeySet($CustomKeypress, "Close")

Func Close()
    Exit
EndFunc

@HankHell please pay attention to where you post in the future. The DEV forum very clearly states:

it's a general topic, I plan on using this information for many different languages. just thought since this is an autoit forum, I'd use autoit language to give a better idea of what functions I'm trying to perform.

I would say in the future, if you are asking a question and wondering at the feasibility across multiple languages, it would be a good idea to state that in your OP. Saves on confusion for those attempting to assist you. :)
