kosamja
When I looked here (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa363852(v=vs.85).aspx) about how to cancel copying with _WinAPI_CopyFileEx it says when pbCancel flag is set to true during the copy operation, the operation is canceled. But it seems that _WinAPI_CopyFileEx is missing that parameter? Func _WinAPI_CopyFileEx($sExistingFile, $sNewFile, $iFlags = 0, $pProgressProc = 0, $pData = 0) Local $aRet = DllCall('kernel32.dll', 'bool', 'CopyFileExW', 'wstr', $sExistingFile, 'wstr', $sNewFile, _ 'ptr', $pProgressProc, 'struct*', $pData, 'bool*', 0, 'dword', $iFlags) If @error Then Return SetError(@error, @extended, 0) ; If Not $aRet[0] Then Return SetError(1000, 0, 0) Return $aRet[0] EndFunc ;==>_WinAPI_CopyFileEx Edited February 24, 2018 by kosamja
BrewManNH
It's not missing, it's just not used in the UDF function, if you look toward the end of the DLLCall you'll see "bool*" and then 0. It starts the copy and then doesn't allow for it to be canceled. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
